Dive Certification
In Australia, most dive operators are affiliated with or but qualifications from all major international diver training organisations are generally recognised.
In Queensland (QLD), a certified diver need's a current certification card and a current log book before being eligible to dive. Certified divers who have not dived recently or who can't provide the required information may be asked to complete a supervised refresher dive to ensure their competency and safety. Dive operators may also ask certified divers to complete a simple medical questionnaire to check that their medical details have not changed.
